Some tumor cells carry specific properties on their surface that make them targets for antibody therapy, or for a therapy with small molecules. If this is the case, a single infusion, usually applied every 3 weeks over a period of 1 year can profoundly lower the risk for breast cancer recurrence. In breast tumors with a specific tumor biology, we can now also offer immunotherapy.
